Mode of Transmission:

·         Fecal-oral route

·         Ingestion of contaminated food or water

Life Cycle



Symptoms:

·         Abdominal pain

·         Cramps

·         Diarrhea

·         Nausea

·         Weight loss

·         Release of gases

·         Bloating

·         Fatigue

Diagnosis:

Stool for routine examination:Cysts

Treatment:

1.       Metronidazole

2.       Tinidazole

             Nitroimidazole
